DescriptionThe last remaining theater on Broadway, the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall houses Portland's finest performing arts groups, and also schedules popular films and concerts in its free time. Formerly known as the Paramount Theatre and commonly known as "The Schnitz", the concert hall can now host nearly any event imaginable, and the versatility of its performances has attracted audiences from all over Portland. Purchasing a ticket at this landmark theater not only means a night of supreme entertainment, but becoming a part of the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall's rich history.
The theater was built in 1928 and previously operated as a vaudeville theater, cinema, and concert venue before becoming a performing arts venue in 1984. While many of the unique decorations that once adorned the theater are now gone, the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall retains the architectural beauty that it has always had. The theater is currently home to the Oregon Symphony, Metropolitan Youth Symphony, Portland Youth Philharmonic, Portland Art & Lectures, and the White Bird Dance Company. It also schedules a number of big name musicians and comedians, as well as offers tickets for documentaries and travel films that have become hugely popular with the public.

ICAL (short for iCalendar) is a standard calendar format that allows you to transfer events from one calendar to another via an .ics file format. CSV (short for "comma-separated values") is a simple data format that many programs, such as Microsoft Excel, use for importing and exporting data.

RSS is a regularly updated summary of events that can be viewed through an RSS reader, along with links to full versions of events. When you subscribe to an RSS feed of events, you'll receive a summary of new events through your RSS reader. When you click on an RSS button, your browser may display a page of web code; if this happens, review your reader's documentation on how to subscribe to an RSS feed.
