7th annual Jim Pepper Native Arts Festival

The Jim Pepper Native Arts Festival celebrates the legacy of the late, great Native American musician in his hometown neighborhood with a free-admission, family-friendly, community-building celebration outdoors on the campus of Parkrose High School. Native American musicians perform traditional and contemporary styles, including Native flute, powwow drums, singing and dancing, Native hip hop, and more. Native vendors and Native foods. The Gary Ogan Band, the Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble and the Flying Eagle Band headline the festival. Everyone is invited to come on out and enjoy fabulous music and dancing; as well as traditional and contemporary art, jewelry, clothing, food, and more in the vendor booths.
