Corban Experience - February 2019

Be a Corban University student for a day! Stay in the dorms with a current student, experience student events, attend classes and chapel, talk with professors and students, and be part of the incredible community that Corban is known for. Check out our sample schedule here. All juniors, seniors, and transfer students who attend Corban Experience will receive a renewable $500 Visit Scholarship*. All sophomores who attend will receive a one-time $500 Visit Scholarship. In addition to our Visit Scholarship, those flying from outside of Oregon or Washington will also qualify for our Travel Reimbursement Grant. This grant will be added to a financial aid package to reimburse up to $500 of the cost of a student's airfare. If you think you will qualify for this grant, ask us about it today! *Students on a collegiate athletic scholarship will not be eligible for the Visit Scholarship. FAQs Who can attend Corban Experience? This event is for all sophomores, juniors, seniors, and transfer students who are interested in attending Corban. If you do not fall into one of those categories, then we would love to meet you on an individual visit. Is this an event for parents as well as students? Absolutely! While we understand that parents are not always able to attend, we highly encourage parents to join their student. Sunday's events include a Parent Reception and Financial Aid seminars, and a Q&A Coffee on Monday morning. We also invite our parents to join their student in attending classes, chapel, touring the campus, and meeting with professors. I'm registering on behalf of my son or daughter. Is it ok if my name is on the registration? Please make sure that the name on the registration is the name of the student who is interested in attending Corban. How do I get to campus? You can find directions to campus on our website. Where do I check-in? Check-in will begin at 4:00PM on Sunday afternoon in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center (#75 on the campus map). You can find parking in lots R, B, and A. What should I pack? Casual Wear Comfortable Shoes for Walking Notebook and Pen Pillow Sleeping Bag Sleeping Attire Toiletries/Personal Hygiene Items Towel and Washcloth Please keep in mind that the temperature in Oregon can change quickly. It is always in your best interest to dress warmly and for all types of weather conditions. You can check the current weather here. What is the refund policy? If something comes up and you are no longer able to attend, please contact Nathan McFadden, our Campus Visit Coordinator, at nmcfadden@corban.edu. The registration fee is non-refundable after Monday, February 4th.
