And the shows are…….
February 14-29
“The Marvelous Wonderettes”
A musical created by Roger Bean
Directed by Jaynie Roberts
This smash off-Broadway hit takes you to the Springfield High School prom where we meet four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their hair-dos. As we learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Lipstick on Your Collar” and “Respect.” Featuring over 30 classic ’50s and ’60s hits, The Marvelous Wonderettes will keep audiences smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!

April 10-25
“Much Ado About Nothing”
William Shakespeare
Directed by David Roberts
Beatrice and Benedick are adamant in their mutual dislike, while Claudio and Hero are deep in love. The two stories take an unexpected course when their world is shattered by a scheming malcontent who makes a shocking accusation. Throw in some "helpful" friends and relatives against the backdrop of WWII Europe and you have the ingredients for a comedic romp, with a hint of romance and betrayal.

June 12-27
“Wake up, Darling!”
A comedy by Alex Gottlieb
Directed by Alice Tanzillo
Polly Emerson is a pretty young woman who wants to be an actress. Her husband, Don, is a successful advertising man, who yearns to be a playwright. Don understandably isn’t too happy when Polly comes home with a very young playwright, Deerfield Prescot, who has written Broadway’s next musical hit – or so he tells Polly and Don. Prescot decides that Polly is just the person to star in his show, and moves into the couple’s apartment to put the finishing touches to his masterpiece. It’s no surprise that havoc ensues!

October 9-24
“Murder on the Orient Express”
Adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig, from Agatha Christie’s novel.
Directed by Jaynie Roberts
Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of year, but by the next morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated, and with a killer in their midst, detective Hercules Poirot must identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again. This is a new adaptation by Ken Ludwig.

December 4-19
“Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story”
Adapted for the stage by Jerry R. Montoya from Charles Dickens novel.
Directed by Julie Richardson
An inspired adaptation of the holiday classic, re-imagined through highly theatrical storytelling. Actors whimsically transform from narrators into characters, and beloved carols are sung to alternately joyful and sinister effect, giving this familiar Christmas story a fresh and energetic feel. A group from the Magenta Rocks! Choir will also perform at this production.

In addition, the company will host 7 improv shows with MIT (Magenta Improv Theater), a Magenta Rocks Choir event, 5 MagenTOTS productions (theater by adults for kids) and 4 Black Chair Projects - staged readings. These are not included in the mainstage shows season ticket prices.
