WORKSHOP AVAILABLE FOR CLARK COLLEGE EMPLOYEES ONLY: Prerequisite: eL101 Intro to Canvas This face-to-face worshop is designed for any instructor seeking to improve their understanding of Ally and ist use with Canvas, as well as providing you first-hand experience with some of the many facets of Accessibility. Join us for an exploration of how the accessibility of content can not only benefit your students (those with accommodations and those without) but also yourself through the organization and structure it creates. By the end of the workshop, you should have a firm grasp on the the use, importance, and implementation of the following tools: Ally, for identifying documents and images that aren't accessible Headings, to add accessibility to documents Alternative text, to add accessibility to images In addition to these, you will get a brief overview of the other areas of Accessibility which Ally does not cover, and a multitude of online resources to help you further utilize Accessibility into your own content moving forward.
